PostSecret is a weekly blog featuring homemade postcards portraying people’s secrets. The postcards are mailed anonymously, and the secrets range from cute and funny to pathetic and heartbreaking. I stumbled across PostSecret in 2005 and became hopelessly addicted. To commemorate my six-year anniversary of PostSecret addiction and because some secrets are too awesome, crazy, or stupid to be forgotten, I am going to pick my favorite secret from the blog each Sunday and share my thoughts on it.
This week’s favorite: Stinky Body Parts
Here’s my 3-step process to smelling good. Assuming you’re medically healthy (i.e., do not have some weird fungus or something), it should work for at least several hours.
1. Put body wash on loofah or sponge. Use loofah or sponge to scrub each stinky area for 15-20 seconds. Scrub as quickly and hard as you can without causing injury.
2. After drying off, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol. Scrub stinky areas gently with cotton ball. Repeat until all stink has been eradicated. Pat dry, preferably with soft towel, as your skin will probably be sensitive.
Disclaimer: Make sure there are no cuts or abrasions on the skin before carrying out this step.
3. Smear a strong anti-perspirant deodorant on all stinky areas. Wait for the deodorant to dry completely before putting on clothes.
