The Boyfriend made Alton Brown’s Steak au Poivre last weekend. The peppercorns were an awesome addition, and the steaks turned out great. The sauce, however, ended up tasting like coffee, which we did not like and threw away. I don’t know if that’s how it’s supposed to taste or due to us screwing up, but I thought I’d give a warning either way.
